The founder Agathia Devotional Arts

…born from devotion,
not commerce.

Dear friend,
please accept my humble obeisances.

It truly touches my heart that you have paused to look upon our work. Thank you for this kindness — it is my sincere hope that our acquaintance has only just begun, and that what unfolds between us will be long and meaningful.

Each murti we create is far more than an artistic endeavour. It is, first and foremost, many hours and many days of meditation upon the Deity. I am wholly convinced that no Deity ever takes form in metal until It itself wishes it — and so we approach every detail with the deepest reverence, not only of the murti, but of the packaging that carries It. For us, every element is a sacred object, never something ordinary.

I am also certain that it is the murti who chooses its own keeper, in some quiet and inexplicable way that the heart understands before the mind ever can. So when you are drawn to one of our works, do not merely look — meditate upon the Deity, and let It reveal itself to you.

Please do not imagine that any of this is shaped for the sake of a beautiful phrase or for marketing. I, and our entire team, live through every stage of this work with our whole hearts. For this reason, Agathia Devotional Arts is, to us, not a commerce but a service — our shared offering laid humbly at the feet of the Divine.

With gratitude and reverence, Krishn Keshev Das

The origin

From the first pencil sketch of a Deity to the final fold of the packaging, each detail brings profound joy to me and to our entire team. We truly love what we do and feel blessed with the act of creating something meaningful for the world.

The inspiration for the very first murti came from friends who urged me to create a form of Lakshmi-Nrisimha Deva. I still do not know why the Lord entrusted me with this task, but in the end, something truly beautiful was born.

The second murti, Goddess Durga, came by the encouragement of my wife. That simple moment blossomed into a growing collection, and in time, into a brand. Each murti is my offering to the Divine; the brand itself is my offering to her.

It is my hope that the murti you welcome into your home will not only grace your space, but also your heart — that it may be worshipped, cherished, and loved as the living presence it truly is.
