Where we ship
We ship worldwide from our atelier. A few destinations are closed to us because of carrier or customs restrictions. If your country is one of them, we will tell you before you pay.
When your murti leaves the atelier
Every murti is finished by hand: chased, patinated, engraved with its number and consecrated before it is packed. That work does not run on a fixed timetable, so we do not publish one. When you place an order, we write to you with the dispatch date for your piece. If anything moves that date, you hear it from us first.
Shipping cost
The price shown on the site includes delivery. There is no separate shipping charge.
The price does not include import duties and taxes of your country. They are added to your order before payment, as described below.
Duties and taxes
Import duties and taxes are not included in the price of the murti. They depend on your country, so we calculate them for each order.
Before you pay, we send you the final amount: the price of the murti plus VAT, customs duty and any other import charges for your country. You pay that one amount to us, and we clear customs for you (Delivered Duty Paid). The courier will not ask you for money at the door, and no customs invoice will follow.
Packaging
Each murti travels in three layers of protection.
- Outer box — the shipping box that carries the delivery label.
- Hard box — inside it, 10 mm corrugated board on all six sides cushions the box within. A sheet of glassine lines the hard box so the inner box never scuffs against its walls.
- Inner box — the jewellery-grade presentation box that holds the murti, velvet-lined, with a precision support that keeps the piece still.
It needs no additional wrapping, and the inner box is meant to be kept.
Tracking and delivery
When your murti is handed to the courier, we email you the tracking number. The parcel is insured for its full value while in transit and is delivered against signature. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes up to 14 days, depending on the region. Please make sure the delivery address and phone number are correct. If you need to change the address, write to us before dispatch. After the parcel has left, a change depends on the courier and may not be possible.
If your murti arrives damaged
Open the parcel as soon as it arrives. The outer box and the hard box are there to take the knocks of the journey. If they arrive scuffed or dented but the murti inside is intact, they have done their job.
If the murti itself is damaged, write to us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the murti and its packaging, and keep all the packaging until we reply. We will then either send you a replacement or refund the full amount you paid, whichever you prefer. A replacement is a new piece from the same edition and carries its own number.
If the inner presentation box is damaged, let us know and we will send you a new one free of charge.
If your parcel is lost
If tracking shows no movement for 30 days, or the courier confirms the parcel is lost, we open the claim with the courier ourselves. You do not have to deal with them. As soon as the loss is confirmed, we send a replacement or refund you in full.
Returns
Each murti is consecrated and engraved for one custodian: their name on the buckle of the presentation box; its individual code, edition number and QR code on the buckle and on the base. The engraving is permanent.
Once the engraving is made, the order cannot be cancelled, and we take the murti back only if it is damaged in transit or lost on the way to you (sections 07 and 08). In those cases it is always replaced or refunded in full.
Before engraving, you can cancel at any time. If you have already paid, we refund the full amount. See our Terms of sale.
