Cast in jewellery bronze with a hand-applied patina finish, this murti portrays Lord Shiva enthroned upon the rocky summit of Mount Kailash — in the posture of the Great Ascetic, holding perfect equilibrium between creation and dissolution. Behind him rises the Prabhamandala: a ring of fire adorned with skulls, embodying his sovereignty over the cycle of birth and death. At the base of the throne rests a lion’s head — an expression of indomitable strength and sovereign dignity.
The symbols and attributes:
Shiva in this form is not a destroyer but the Great Liberator. He does not annihilate the world — he dissolves illusion so that truth may be revealed. His silence upon Kailash is louder than any word.
Every detail — from the sculpted skulls of the aureole to the texture of the tiger skin — has been rendered by skilled artisans in faithful accordance with iconographic tradition.
Each piece is an offering, not a product.
